To whom it may concern,

DO YOU HAVE ANY WORK FOR ME? I'M DOWN ON MY LUCK. HERE IS A QUICK SYNOPSIS OF MY LIFE AND WHAT I AM SENDING TO MEDIA OUTLETS. I CAN START ASAP.

I have been out of work since September 11, 2003.

Dilemma: In all ways but one, I am loved by all and determined to be a great asset to the team, I do not do things against company policy nor the law when I am on someone else's time. I am not holding a job right now because of my left-wing, freedom-fighter, liberal ideals and behaviors. Corporate Business' has a hell of a time getting rid of me legally. Eventually I become their worst "Socially Correct" nightmare come true. Solution: I am more often than not, ingeniously squeezed out legally/socially? through a sudden corporate downsizing/reshuffling and given a nice bullshit story to go home with.

History: I sold a dozen Vicodin in a school zone in 1996. Hence, I have been convicted of a crime. Mandatory Sentencing Laws take the judgments and sentencing out of the hands of the Judge and Jury (the public), and place them in the hands of some prosecutor who’s only motive is to get a “win” and impress his superiors, the district attorney, and the press while raising his station by getting just that one more conviction on the books irregardless of truth, innocence, guilt or justice.

Crooked Cops: And then I find out that the same Morris County “Special Enforcement” officer, Jeff Paul, who was in my mother’s house, giving her a nervous breakdown, searching with a warrant, is meeting my friend once a month in a restaurant to pick up bribery money in his efforts to promote prostitution rings. They operate with the permission of the “Morris County Special Enforcement” officers—as long as they get a “skim” off the top of the profits/proceeds. Oh…and the “special favors.” My friend asked me why I didn’t let him know what I was doing so he could inform Jeff Paul that I was, in fact, a good guy and to look the other way and not investigate anything if he heard or saw my name—exactly what he is already doing. But it was too late. The Investigation/Discovery package had already hit the District Attorney, John Dangler, and the press, and a Judge. Now that it has hit the fan, it is too risky for County authorities to drop/dispose of such a case out of fear they will be implicated or questioned on their motives/involvement. After all—I’m no Senator’s son. Jeff Paul, and hence the department, really does not care what the public is doing—as long as they are in on the “take.” After all, Morris County is a very rich area and there is a tremendous profit to be made around here in the oldest lucrative profession. Yes, prostitution runs rampant here. And I’m not choosing sides. I really don’t care if it goes on or not. No amount of punishment or control will ever be able to stop it—remember “oldest profession.” And…the profession is extremely low key because the people who are in a position to expose it are the clients/hostesses themselves. And how can they push the button on their own vice/crutch? No victim, no crime. It is similar to many behaviors of any type of addict. And they are consenting adults. So in a way I say leave them alone. But I just will not stand for hypocritical crooked cops.

Incompetent, Lazy F.B.I: So…before I was sentenced, I paid a visit to our trusty F.B.I. office in Newark, New Jersey, and sat down with two Federal Agents. I told them all about Jeff Paul and what he is doing. They asked me if I am personally paying him off. I told them I was not or I wouldn’t be here having this conversation. Well, they claim, therefore there is no proof. We want concrete proof and evidence he is engaging in such activities. I suggested I work undercover for them to stop this crooked cop from operating illegal, Mafia style business contracts. They claimed they are too busy to get involved with petty stuff and unless I had concrete proof (paying him directly or unless I already have him on tape describing what he is doing), there is nothing they can do to help me—or more important—Society/Law, for that matter. And it is inherent in their job duties/mission statement to investigate potential criminal conduct—especially police who are in position and power to abuse authority with impunity and shield themselves from justice. Why do you think you have heard of their “Blue Wall of Silence?” Because it does exist! It is next to impossible for a member of society to bring a case against them--and prove it! That is one reason we need the F.B.I.—whether or not they do it personally themselves or launch an internal affairs investigation—they must at least investigate such serious accusations and get the job done. What are they doing with their seemingly unlimited resources? Maybe, they already know what he is doing or what is going on. And maybe they are getting a “skim” from him, them, and various others. Whatever is going on—it is clear to a mute man that it is corrupt and crooked to some degree.

Results: So, I have long completed my 5yr. sentence with 1 1/2 yrs. mandatory incarceration and I am clean and sober living within the restrictive confines of socially unreasonable, illogical, inept, unjust law. Through Government action—S/NCIC, I am "branded" everywhere I go. It has become my personal "Scarlet Letter" and I have found out I am carrying it with me wherever I go. The very Government institution that guaranteed me a second chance is the same one that is hindering such. So I can not lie on the big employment application question that “can not be used against you” in determining your employment qualifications. So, I am 32 yrs. old now and back living in my mother's basement. Ain’t that a bitch.

Justice?: Since then, Morris County Special Enforcement Officer Jeff Paul has been given substantial increases, raises, and promotions. I think now he is a Lieutenant in Charge/Captain or he is ”Retired With Special Benefits.” Now tell me something doesn’t smell like the East River’s cunt.

The Aftermath: Through a few good friends and acquaintances (I will defend them with my life and you will never know who they are), I am now positive I want to devote my life's work to my generation, also known as “Generation X/The Hip Hop Generation.” I’m an orator, a stand-up comedian, a speech giver, a motivator, a freedom-fighter, and a first amendment commandeer. I know I can talk to future successions of my generation and motivate them to be self reliant. Through my quest, I have learned that I am far from the only one who thinks like this. It is because I have been a personal victim of, or witness to every form of social injustice from the subtle tyrannical crap they shovel in the "Declaration of Independence" to inconsistent hypocritical "Modern Social Family Values." There is no topic or issue I cannot solve to the satisfaction of society. Because I talk to the people directly.

I am brutally and crudely honest about everything I say and do. I do what I say and I say what I do. I am very intelligent and methodical about our modern world and the history of the world as to how we all ended up where we are and why. I have unofficially declared myself a sovereign nation upon myself. I have my own Constitution and my own law/rule book I live life by—and, by the way or by chance, it just so happens to be acceptable to everyone I encounter—They just can’t stand up and defend or admit it in public because they have a more personal interest to protect—their own personal agenda, job, future, family, and image. Until they are personally affected, they remain silent, fade to black, and disappear into their self-serving oblivion.

The Revolution: I am having difficulty finding an outlet for my departmental list of "Major Fucking Psychotic Complaints"--I am only impressed with honesty, truth, sincerity, passion and compassion, human rights, education and the Health/Medical profession, persistence, and dedication toward a better life and future for our children. I have been through too much in my life to not see the real truth as it is practiced and not in theoretical rhetoric the way your politicians cram it down your throat. (Divorce, death, drugs, vices, family shunning, legal injustices, crooked cops, courts, and their system, Government intrusions, educational/legal/social institutions, health/medical services--and the list will never end.) I would love to hear from you and meet you under any condition you like. I am unemployed and have nothing to do for 24 hrs. a day. I would appreciate your opinion on my theory and my plans on how I can deliver it to a large audience. I would also love to be a guest on your show if you can arrange it. I would also be willing to work for you in any capacity you choose. I can work 16-18 hrs. a day (I don't do anything else in life right now.) Thank you and yours for everything you have done for us in the course of your life's work.

I feel like the ousted "Bill Hicks" and “George Carlin” of the millennia.

I am an excellent conversationalist and possess the unique gift of gab. I guarantee I will light up phone lines anywhere in any forum in the first five minutes of my monologue if given the chance. I think that if the public at large could hear me, I would gain a following so quickly, I would have to get my own show. I need an honest, healthy, LEGAL outlet for all my energy. I have found that I am a true orator, a speech giver, and a social/political/human activist. That's really where my heart is. I want to do stand up comedy/radio/television shows or have something to do with a media outlet that can help me get the message of my generation to the public at large. I have never left a trail of victims (in any way, shape, or form on any level) in my wake nor have I spilt a drop of blood in my quest for freedom. If I did I would be wrong. I am easily understood if given the opportunity to be heard and I am seldom wrong nor off base. I believe I am the only one who could take the microphone in defense of my generation of people because I have everything worked out from start to finish. No one will have too many questions because I have too many answers. I have an anecdote and an explanation for everything and I have the passion to do it and get it done. My name on "blast" throughout society. I feel like I am in the ultimate lose-lose situation. And, to scare a person truthfully—it is unfortunate and unfathomable to comprehend the totality of a perfectly good, honest, intelligent, capable, competent, viable human being who puts the gun to someone for the basic staples of life: food, water, and shelter. And of course it is wrong and no way do innocent people deserve this in any capacity in any society/culture. But what is their Government doing to prevent people from coming to this kind of tragic end? Nothing. The individual citizens that constitute a society are treated like a revolving door, a shower—or shit. You don’t clean a shower because it is only a means to an end. Shit in, shit out, move in, move out. In—out. It is just fuel for legitimate power oppressors.

Please find me something constructive to do so I don't end up in the “Kit Kat” again.

Sincerely,

Joseph Malloy

    um...

NEVER say anything that is not positive in a resume or cover letter. I can almost guarantee that your cover letter (something about my life) will result in your resume being placed in the circular file cabinet.

I have heard that before. No doubt--do you have any suggestions about how to market this mess towards a fun and functional career or opportunity? Obviously I'm very flexible and can or will do anything.

Well, I don't know that I'm the one to ask, as I am looking as well, but I would drop everything after To Whom It May Concern.

Think of your coverletter kind of like a mini resume, and try to include the words that the employer will be looking for which reflect skills and experience that you have. Look at the job description for hints.

The first paragraph should mention the position and how you herd about it. If someone else told you about the job, mention them, and forwward them a copy. Specify why you are applying to this particular company, if there is a reason.

The body should be to show off your abilities. One good technique to use is to use a paragraph to describe your educational background and another to describe your work experience and gained skills. Also include any other qualities that you posses that the employer would be seeking. Choose applicable adjectives like fast learner or detail oriented.

the clodsing paragraph: Ask for an interview. Thats the purpose of the cover letter and the resume. Be clear and indicate what you would like the employer to do next, and include information of how and when you can be reached, or indicate that you will call the employer on a specific day, The tone should be polite yet explicit regarding what you think the next step should be.

Example: I would appreciate the oppurtunity to meet with you to discuss this position and my qualifications. Please contact me for an interview at the above address or at (555) 555-5555.

Make it sound enthusiastic, keep it to one page, and try to get a contact name to address it to. A cover letter adddressed to Mr. James Smith, Vice President (if that is the proper contact) looks much better than Dear Sir, or To Whom It May Concern. You can usually dig this info up with a bit of research. (calling and asking the secretary doesnt hurt, and you can use this time to ask what the dress code is, so you dont over or under dress for the interview.)

As far as marketing it towards something you want to do.. I havent figured THAT one out yet, either. Think about what you enjoy doing, and think about past jobs, and what it was about them that you liked.

Wow. That's a lot of info. good info. It will take me a week to answer all those questions competently and relate them to a dream job. Maybe more than a week. Thanks for all the support. I can always be found under my name. In sluts, friends w benefits, legalize weed, pimp your bus, jobs, careers, etc. I'm kinda new to this tribe thing but so if you know of any tribes that are less talk and more action, please let me know. Thanks again for the "kind" help.
